Description
A knitting pattern for a vest in the style of traditional Icelandic Lopapeysa. It has a round yoke with a pattern of the special type of sunbeams that break through the clouds we call “sólstafir”. Could be translated as sun letters or sun canes. It inspired me to make this vest for a knitting competition and I won third place! (2nd runner up)
This pattern uses 4 mm and 5 mm needles
Yarn: Létt-lopi; light gray (0054) and yellow (1703), Golden thread and white Rós 30C
